Under the Umbrella

This piece was created for SLC Arts collaborative exhibit with Potsdam Pride, In Full Color. It showcases many queer people that have been improtant to Cedars journey as a queer person. These people have either tought Cedar, been there for hard times, she looks up to them, or mix of the three. Cedar chose an umbrella for this piece for multiple reasons, the most obvious being queer as an umbrella term for anyone in the LGBTQIA+ community. The less obvious representing how these connections that Cedar has made has helped shield her from the hatred and queerphobia of the world, represented by the rain.
